Founder of Montreal Marine Service Inc, Has served aboard Canadian and US Petro-chemical tankers for a period of 17 years, including 6 years as a Master. In addition to his sea going experience, he worked 3 years ashore as a Cargo Superintendent, and Port Captain for the US chemical vessel owner-operator. He is an accredited inspector for Petroleum and Chemical tankers as per CDI and OCIMF-SIRE inspection regime. Ice Advisor and Ice Pilot since 1989 aboard foreign vessels. Complies with the requirements to serve as an Ice Navigator in the Arctic Waters. In 1997 successfully passed pilotage exams for the Great Lakes Region District 2. In 1989 obtained Canadian Master Mariner's Certificate in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
